2018-2019 EDUCATION-TEACHING YEAR SPRING SEMESTER END SINGLE COURSE EXAM ATTENTION TO OUR STUDENTS WHO WILL TAKE THE EXAM


2018-2019 Education-Teaching Year Spring Semester Students who will take the single course exam to be held on 12.07.2019 must fill out, sign, and scan the single course exam form attached by 12:00 on Thursday, 11.07.2019, and send it primarily via email (ztyo@mehmetakif.edu.tr), and they must definitely bring the original petition with them when coming to the exam. (For students who are out of town) Those who are not out of town can fill out the form by hand and submit it. The exam schedule will be announced in the coming days. The single course exam form is attached.

NOTE: Students who have not completed on-the-job training cannot take the single course exam.

Students who took the make-up exam in the Spring Semester can submit their single course exam petitions after all grades are announced.



Single course exams ARTICLE 21 – (Title amended: O.G.16/09/2008-26699)

(1) Students who are at the graduation stage, except for mandatory internship work, who have failed only one course regardless of the semester, and who have attended that course, as well as students who have passed or are considered to have passed all their courses but cannot graduate because their weighted general grade point average is below 2.00, can take the exam from any course of the last four semesters to raise their weighted general grade point average.

(2) Students who want to take the single course exam apply to their respective unit with a petition indicating which course exam they want to take. The single course exams of students whose applications are accepted by the unit administrative board are held on the dates specified in the academic calendar each year.

(3) The grade obtained in the single course exam is processed according to the principles in Article 23 of this Regulation and is included in the GPA.

(The clause stating that each student can benefit from the single course exam only once has been removed.)
